The successful candidate will represent the CSG and the interest of its members to senior individuals and groups within the NHS and beyond. They will lead the delivery of programmes and projects by galvanising support within individual organisations but will also support the development of the strategy, priorities and implementation plan.

Main duties of the job

  • Development of the CSG 5-year strategy and implementation plan.
  • Coordination and oversight of all CSG activities.
  • Project managing a number of concurrent projects. This will include developing and delivering plans, managing risks and issues and reporting on progress.
  • Developing the profile and reputation of the group, identifying and taking forward opportunities to increase the groups influence.
  • Representing the group to various stakeholders, able to accurately represent views and influence others on the priorities of the group.
  • Able to take information and outcomes of discussions to create clear and cohesive messages.
