NHS England’s Mental Health Month: shining a spotlight on mental health

The Cavendish Square Group is supporting NHS England London’s #mentalhealth month. Taking place throughout May, the month is designed to provide information about mental health services in London and shed light on what the NHS and its partners are doing to support the mental health and well-being of the capital’s citizens.

London is a unique health economy and its NHS mental health services are responsible for delivering treatment, care and support to millions of citizens each year. From caring for the 111,000 young people estimated to have a mental health condition and supporting the needs of adults affected by severe mental illnesses such as psychosis, we’re working together to make sure everyone in the capital has access to the right mental health support when they need it.

Throughout May, we will explore a variety of themes and highlight specific services that are helping to promote and support good mental health in London. These themes include:
