As we come to the end of NHS England London’s Mental Health month, we take a look back at the stories and statistics that have shaped the conversation.
From the immediate needs of someone experiencing a mental health crisis, to the long term care planning for people with dementia, it is clear that mental health services must provide tailored support for each individual.
It is also apparent that raising awareness to reduce the stigma attached mental health issues and campaigning for more resources to bridge the gap between mental and physical health services will ultimately lead to better patient outcomes.
However, it’s hugely important to remember that for the trusts that make up the Cavendish Square Group, mental health extends way beyond this month. We’re here 365 days a year, 24/7, for each and every Londoner.
