Congratulations to our trust member, Oxleas, for winning the prestigious Health Service Journal Trust of the Year award. Trusts from across London were recognised at last week's Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards, with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust becoming the winner.
In 2021, the Trust agreed an ambitious strategy to make Oxleas a great place to work and where they delivered great care and improved lives. Despite huge challenges faced by the NHS, they say they have made excellent progress and achieved this by living their values – We’re Kind, We’re Fair, We Listen, and We Care.
Their thriving Involve network supports service user co-production and pioneers employing people with lived experience. “Where we can make a difference to improve people’s lives, we have risen to the challenge to deliver this effectively and efficiently,” says the Trust.
Judges said this is a very ambitious Trust who are infectiously enthusiastic about their achievements to date and future plans. The outcomes are extremely impressive and show that this is a Trust that truly demonstrates best practice throughout. Their commitment to engaging staff at all levels, and their palpable connection to the communities the Trust serves is inspiring.
