The Young Person’s Sanctuary: A New Crisis Service for Mental Health

The Young Person’s Sanctuary is a new service that offers crisis support for young people aged 14 to 17 who are experiencing mental distress.

It is a safe, non-judgemental spaces that young people can visit if they find themselves in crisis or mental distress in the evenings.

There is no need to call and book an appointment, simply drop in. You will be met by a trained youth mental health worker who will listen and help you identify ways to address the problems you are facing. The teams will also be able to refer and signpost to other services if required.

CAMHS will be working in collaboration with the mental health charity, Mind BLMK (Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes), to offer advice and help for anyone aged between 14 to 17 years.

The Young Person’s Sanctuary will be open Monday to Sunday from 4pm to 10am at Eaglestone Health Centre.
